West-central Florida is where I started. Fro college I decided to broaden my horizons and did stints in Alabama and Georgia while studying mathematics and philosophy. Despite having - the BEST EVER housemates - a fulfilling, challenging job - caring, compassionate, competent co-workers - loyal, supportive friends - I abruptly decided to move to Northern California. WHY? Something was missing - everything in Florida seemed too comfortable and I began to feel a desire for personal and professional growth. I figured that a good way to encourage that growth was to leave what was comfortable. All of a sudden a job opportunity on the West Coast presented itself -- it all made sense.
